Privacy Policy for Accrivo
Last Updated: 2026-06-28
Welcome to Accrivo, a privacy-first personal finance application. Your privacy is critically important to us. This Privacy Policy outlines our guidelines concerning the data you enter into our application and your rights regarding that data.
Accrivo was built from the ground up with an offline-first approach, ensuring you have complete control and ownership of your financial information.
🏠 1. Where Your Data Lives
Your data stays on your device. Accrivo operates on an offline-first architecture. We do not store, process, or transmit your financial data, transactions, budgets, or any personal information to our servers. All financial data you enter into Accrivo is stored locally on your device’s storage.
🚫 2. What We Don’t Collect
While we use some basic analytics to improve the app, Accrivo is designed for maximum privacy. We strictly do not collect or transmit:
- Personal Identifiable Information (PII) such as your name, email address, or phone number (unless you explicitly provide it for a specific service).
- Financial data, account balances, categories, budgets, or transaction histories. This data never leaves your device unless you manually back it up.
- Biometric Data: If you enable App Lock, your fingerprint or face data is processed securely by your device’s operating system. Accrivo never accesses, collects, or stores your biometric data.
☁️ 3. Optional Google Drive Sync
To help you secure your data against device loss, Accrivo offers an optional backup feature using your personal Google Drive account.
- If you choose to enable this feature, Accrivo will sync a backup of your local database to a private folder in your Google Drive.
- This connection happens directly between your device and Google’s servers. Accrivo’s servers are never involved in this process.
- We do not have access to your Google Drive contents. The app only requests the minimum permissions necessary to read and write its own backup files.
🕹️ 4. Total Control Over Your Data
You have total control over your financial data. At any time, you can:
- Export your data: Export your financial records in standard formats to manage outside the app.
- Backup and Restore: Manually create backups of your data and restore them when needed.
- Delete your local data: Because your data is stored locally, uninstalling the app or clearing the app’s data from your device settings will permanently delete all your financial records from that device.
- Delete your App Account: If you have chosen to sign in using Google (Firebase Auth) to enable cloud backups or manage premium features, you may request the permanent deletion of your associated app account and any associated cloud data by contacting the developer directly at in.mk.solutions@gmail.com.
🔓 5. Why We Ask For Permissions
To enable advanced features, Accrivo may request specific device permissions. We respect your privacy and handle these permissions as follows:
- Camera & Photo Library (Optional): If you choose to attach receipt photos to your transactions, Accrivo requests access to your camera or gallery. All receipt images are stored strictly locally on your device. Accrivo never uploads your photos or receipts to our servers.
- Notifications (Optional): Used strictly to send you scheduled reminders for dues and recurring transactions, as well as important app announcements.
⚙️ 6. Services We Use Under the Hood
To ensure app stability, improve user experience, and manage premium entitlements/referrals, Accrivo utilizes the following third-party services:
- Google Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics & Cloud Messaging: We collect anonymized usage data and crash reports to improve the app, and use Cloud Messaging to deliver important announcements. Privacy Opt-Out: You have granular control to explicitly opt out of Analytics, Crashlytics, and FCM token uploads directly from the app settings.
- Firebase Authentication & RevenueCat: Used to manage your app installation ID, track successful referrals securely, and manage PRO tier entitlements.
- Google Play Integrity API & Cloudflare: We utilize these services strictly to verify device integrity and prevent fraudulent installations (such as fake referral generation). No personal financial data is transmitted during this security check.
- Google Drive (Optional): Used solely if you opt-in to secure cloud backups of your encrypted local database.
🔄 7. Policy Updates
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes to how we treat your privacy, we will notify you through the app or by updating the date at the top of this policy.
💬 8. Got Questions?
We do not maintain a centralized customer database of personal identities. However, if you have questions or suggestions regarding our Privacy Policy, please refer to the project repository or contact the developer directly.
